Ellen DeGeneres snagged Caitlyn Jenner, the most talked about person of 2015, for her first talk show appearance to interview for the season 13 premiere of The Ellen Show.
Jenner spoke about her change in view point on gay marriage, her very famous family and much more!
Caitlyn sat down with Ellen to discuss the experience of becoming her true self, telling Ellen she feels fabulous. Caitlyn spoke about going through a difficult time in the 80’s, where she isolated herself for six years. She was taking hormones and thought she was going to transition, but just couldn’t do it. After coming out of isolation, she met Kris Jenner and raised her family. Fast forward more than 30 years and she found her self in the same situation (only in a big huge house in a mansion). After speaking to family and her pastor, she decided it was the right time to go through with the transition.
Caitlyn spoke about wearing a bra and pantyhose when Bruce was giving his motivational speeches and going back to the hotel, changing into women’s clothes and going out without anyone noticing.
When asked if Caitlyn missed being Bruce the answer was an emphatic, “absolutely, no.” Ellen asked the controversial golf question and we learned that Caitlyn is still golfing on the men side.
Ellen brought up the fact that Caitlyn is a conservative and his view point on gay marriage.
“I have to admit that I remember 15 years ago or 20 years ago, whatever it was, when the whole gay marriage issue [first] came up, at first I was not for it,” confesses Jenner. “I thought, I’m a traditionalist. I’m older than a lot of people in the audience. I kind of like tradition, and it’s always been between a man and a woman. And I’m thinking, I don’t quite get it.”
As for whether Jenner will date men or women, she responded by saying,
“Everybody wants to have a partner, everybody would love to have a family……For me, I’m at such a different place in life. I already had too many children — just kidding.” She continued, “I’m kind of past that stage in my life. But, yes, would I like to find a partner in life to share my life with? Yeah. I’m sure I will at some point.”
Jenner, has 10 children, he fathered six kids and is the stepfather to four more, the very famous Kardashian clan.
She never actually answered the men/women question, and laughed off the rumors she is dating Candis Cayne, when DeGeneres asked.
