Matt was a bit nervous about the dance but did a fine job earning the money for charity.
Matt recently spoke to The Guardian about acting and the subject of actors and their sexuality. Matt was talking about actors being more effective when you know less about their personal lives. He was speaking in the context of Matt and Ben Affleck’s relationship and the rumors they were gay following their breakout hit Good Will Hunting, when they first received on the Hollywood Scene more than 20 years ago. Matt said what he was really trying to say was, “actors are more effective when they are a mystery.” Somehow by the time it made it around the internet and blogosphere it was changed to “gay actors need to get back in the closet.” Matt said it’s painful when you read you believe something and those aren’t your beliefs. We have the complete Matt Damon story over at Have U Heard.
We have the video of Matt doing the whip and the nae nae below. We also have the video of Jimmy Fallon doing the whip and the nae nae on The Tonight Show. Fallon’s danced the whip/nae nae during a Lip Synch Battle with Ellen DeGeneres where he performed to the song, “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae),” doing the fun moves and really getting into the dancing.
