Ellen DeGeneres loves a good laugh and a good prank. She has taken to her talk show, The Ellen Show, to torture Matt Lauer and his friends over at the Today Show.

When 50 Shades of Grey first came out, Ellen revealed an interview with Matt Lauer, where he dressed in dominatrix gear and another interview with Vince Vaughn, where Lauer was sliding his leg up the actor’s leg. Needless to say, all of the footage that Ellen showed to her audience was altered and none of these things really happened.
It looks like Matt Lauer and the people at the Today Show have had enough and they finally fought back. This isn’t an easy task as DeGeneres is the master of pranks. While Ellen was filming her show, Lauer had Ellen’s Porsche filled with 20,000 ping pong balls. 20,000. When Ellen came out, she was a bit surprised, as well as, unhappy.
She opened both the front door and back doors of the car, standing back as thousands of balls poured out. Ellen immediately figured out who was the prankster saying,
“I’ll get you, Matt Lauer! Damn you, Lauer! He’s littering. This is against the law!” Matt face timed Ellen and she told him, “We were just gonna start a beer pong tournament so I needed to buy like 20,000 ping pong balls. So, the joke’s on you, Lauer!”
The classic comeback from Lauer,
“You have to admit, Ellen,” he said, “it took a lot of balls to pull of this prank!” ”I was gonna say that,” she replied.
DeGeneres warned the Today show anchor, “But now it’s on, Lauer!” Although, Matt did mention he was entering the prankster protection program. The Today Show got Ellen car service so she could get home and did clean her car – so it’s not all bad.
Matt is scared and he probably should be. He told his co-hosts, ”You know the definition of a nanosecond? That’s the period of time between feeling good about getting her back and being scared for your life.”
